That's So Last Year

Can somebody, ANYBODY, please tell me where 2015 went? Is it just me or did it just seem to fly by?

I can't believe we're well into 2016 already - time is just disappearing, and I don't like it. Although, I'm pretty glad to be seeing the back of last year if I'm really honest. Now, I'm not one of these 'NEW YEAR, NEW ME', gonna get uber skinny, go to the gym everyday, eat healthier types of people. I've never really stuck to any of my New Years Resolutions anyway. But this year, I think, don't quote me, but I'm going to try and stick to some small changes in my life. This post was inspired by a blogger I love Leanne Woodfull, who has done a post about making realistic resolutions and implementing the hashtag: HappyIs2016

1. Make my mark in the Blogosphere.

2015 saw the birth of my blog/tiny space in the blogosphere, and I've been loving just having all the creative licence to go wild and spill all. But, this year, I'm going to take my blog more seriously. Posting good quality content (or try to anyhow) and regularly post! Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see any particular content on my blog, I'd love to get some feedback from you guys. I also want to network with other bloggers, and learn - I'm an absolute newbie and would love to learn a few tricks of the trade, as it were, from other bloggers. So if you're interested in having a chat with me - head to any of my social media links!

2. Keep positive!

As a natural pessimist, I do struggle with keeping positive - and having anxiety really doesn't help this either. But, I'm making a promise to myself to make sure, that this year, is going to be my year. I'm a strong believer in that you make your own luck in this world - and I'm going to live that mentality with a positive outlook on life. I've got lots of things I want to do this year, and I really wanted to discover to passions of mine to keep my engaged with blogging.

3. Challenge myself - do things that take me out of my comfort zone.

This year, more than ever, I want to challenge myself. I've always been a person who has needed something challenging to keep me engaged, else I just switch off and become disinterested. I want to try all sorts of things, whether that be trying new food (as I'm definitely a very fussy eater), try and venture into a new sport or pastime - this year I delved into the world of Cheerleading and absolutely loved it. I'm unsure if there's any local Cheerleading groups, other than university teams, so that one may have to wait. In the meantime though, I'm really interested in trying to Yoga or Pilates, I also think that going to classes will help with my anxiety, I definitely need to get back into some form of exercise - this excess Xmas pud isn't going to shift itself.

I know to some people my resolutions might be small or minor, but right now small steps are what I need to take. But, I'm going to make an conscientious effort to make sure I see these through. Let me know what your new year resolutions in the comments below! Make sure you check out Leanne's post too: HappyIs2016

Until next time,
